In between working, I try and keep my GrillFiend happy, drink real ale and guinness, read modern science fiction and some real literature as well. I also maintain the What CDWF doesn't know page, in honour of that rather knowledgable chap, Clive DW Feather.

I work as the SCM manager for the Internet Development Group of Thus PLC, mostly working on projects for the Demon Internet brand. Previously, I worked as a Software Developer, and prior to that in Demon's NOC in the backend services team (running things like backups, RADIUS, NTP, DNS, etc). Way, way back in the past I worked on the NOC helpdesk - basically the interface between the System Administrators and the rest of the company.
